Our client, a growing food manufacturing company, is searching for a
3rd Shift Production Supervisor to join their team. The position reports to the Production Manager, and supervises a team of 15. The shift is 5:30 pm to 6:30 am and we are seeking true 3rd shift managers, not individuals looking to transition to a 1st shift position. Great organization, great team and a great boss! 

The Production Supervisor is responsible that food is produced efficiently and in a safe, clean environment.  The Production Supervisor is a member of the management team and has direct supervisory responsibilities of production personnel. 
The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing SSQE (food/work safety, sanitation, quality or efficiency) and Operational SOP Management.  The Production Supervisor will assist the Plant Quality Team to maintain plant quality standards, as well as the Plant Maintenance Team to uphold plant maintenance standards.  The Production Supervisor will coach and train production associates as needed to achieve results. 
  1. Direct, plan and coordinates work activities of employees.  Trains, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance. Counsel, record and discipline as necessary.
  2. Interview and recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and firing as needed. 
  3.   1.    Associate Degree with two (2) years Supervisory related experience, or four years experience in a manufacturing environment with two (2) years Supervisory experience.

  2.  Advanced computer skills and ability to operate other electronic office equipment (Time and Attendance records).

  5.  Must be able to become certified and maintain certification through an OSHA approved forklift certification and certified as a First Responder.
