Sanitation Supervisor - 3rd Shift
Summary: Provides the direction and leadership for the efficient operation of the Sanitation departments supporting the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Fully develops subordinates to reach full potential.
Full knowledge of proper set up and operational procedures for all equipment within the Production and Sanitation departments. Demonstrable knowledge of best practice food manufacturing sanitation practices.
Operation within budget: Labor, Materials, and Waste. Understand and adhere to all regulatory requirements, develop and maintain a working relationship with USDA. Manage and maintain all departmental documentation in accordance with record keeping requirements.
Responsible to enforce food safety programs such as HACCP, SSOP, USDA, GMPs. Including the procedures and documentation requirements to include monitoring, training, implementation, and communication specific to the Sanitation department. Additional training specific to other departments within the facility will occur.
Develop performance data and trend analysis to support continuous improvement.
All employees are responsible for upholding the principles of SQF 2000.
A trained designee, Sanitation Leads, Operations Managers or Director of Operations, will be appointed by management to cover for absences and vacancies.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; and more than two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
